I was privileged to attend the first ‘GHANA YOUTH AGRICULTURE SUMMIT’ last year at KNUST and I was awed by the organization, the rich experience of the speakers, and the practical and impactful information about farming presented at the forum. The diverse backgrounds of the speakers sharing their experiences, challenges, and how they surmounted those challenges were very revealing and motivating to me. I saw the excitement among the youthful participants. The conference was not limited to only the delivery of speeches but the establishment of support networks for the participants willing to go into agriculture was one of the highlights of the summit. I have since started sack farming on a pilot basis and hope to roll it out on a bigger scale.

I will recommend support for Ps. Evans Kyere Mensah to organize similar summits in the future and recommend it to anyone especially the youth interested in making an impact in agriculture.
